Long Term Care
Life happens whether it be a devestating accident or illness. How would you pay for your care? How will you insure that you or your family won't suffer financially because of your health care needs?

Long term care helps pay for the cost associated with long term care. It covers care that is usually not covered by health insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. It will also cover the costs of care when you have a chronic condition, disability or disorder such as Alzheimer. Long term care includes assistance with their daily activities like bathing, dressing, eating, helping them get in and out of bed. Most policies will reimburse you for care given in your home, nursing home or assisted living facility.

Health insurance covers your doctors and hospitals. Medicare will cover short term skilled nursing but not for custodial care like assisting in every day activities.

Most people who have long term care buy this insurance when they are in their 50's or 60's. You cannot buy coverage if you already have a debilitating condition because you won't qualify. Prices are not guaranteed to stay the same rate over your lifetime.
